ClientIQ — Competitor List

Last updated: 2026-06-23 (live web scan: Aveni, AdvisoryAI, Zocks, Jump, PlannerPal, WealthTech Today 2026 buyer's guide, vendor sites). Grouped by the ClientIQ module each competitor most directly threatens. Many overlap — each is placed in its primary lane, with crossover noted in the last column.

How to read this: the category has collapsed onto the same three claims — note-taking, save-time, compliance. Most vendors do all three to some degree; the grouping below reflects where each one leads and where it competes hardest with us.

1. Meeting Prep

Pre-meeting briefing / "walk in prepared" — our UK + SA spearhead. Direct head-to-head lane.

Competitor Website What they lead with Geography Threat / crossover
PlannerPal plannerpal.co.uk "Pre-Meeting Prep Pack" — structured, fully-referenced prep pack (launched Jan 2026) UK Highest — only competitor to plant a flag in pre-meeting prep. Transcript-first; preps from their meetings, not your existing data.
Jump jump.ai "#1 AI software for advisors" — prep agendas, capture, CRM. ~1 in 10 US advisers, $100M+ funded US (entering UK) High — moving from note-taker to "operating system"; preps from recorded history (thin in week one).
AdvisoryAI advisoryai.com "Evie" handles meeting notes/fact-find; pre-meeting prep as a feature. 2,000+ advisers, 400+ firms UK High — owns the funded-incumbent proof. Prep is a feature, not the headline.
Zocks zocks.io Pre-meeting prep + "historical intelligence on clients" US Medium — prep is one of many workflows; privacy-first angle.
Marloo marloo.com "AI partner" — meeting capture, prep, docs, tasks. 650+ firms, 6 countries UK / ANZ Medium-High — strongest UK distribution; differentiate on systems-first + week-one value + founder depth. Actively demoing — placed at WealthStack (Wealth Management EDGE, Sept 2025), 9% of audience vote.

2. Voice Notes & Note-Takers

Meeting capture, transcription, post-meeting file notes — our Voice Notes & Intelligence product (SA dual-prong).

Competitor Website What they lead with Geography Threat / crossover
Saturn saturnos.com Cuts post-meeting notes from 30–45 min to "5–7 hrs/week saved"; capture + reports + compliance UK Medium — pure note/report play.
Filenote.ai filenote.ai "AI automated client notes" — never stores recordings/data. 1,000+ advisers, 30+ min/meeting UK Medium — privacy-first note artefacts.
Automwrite automwrite.co.uk FCA-compliant suitability reports in 60s; built by a DipPFS adviser UK Medium — report-generation focus.
Pulse360 pulse360.com AI Note-taker + "NoteGenius" + "prove the value you deliver" US Low-Medium — note-taker + value-proof lane.
Aveni (Aveni Assist) aveni.ai Joins calls, automates notes/reports/CRM. Runs on FinLLM (UK finance LLM); also compliance (Aveni Detect) UK Medium — enterprise/bank-grade; also a Client Intelligence player.
Zeplyn zeplyn.ai AI note-taking → "client intelligence platform" / agentic OS. $3M seed US Medium — note-taker evolving into intelligence layer.
Finmate AI finmate.ai "Agentic co-pilot" — notes, hyper-personalised insights, form pre-fill US Low-Medium — capture + insights + forms.
Jamie meetjamie.ai General AI note-taker (finance teams included), not advice-specific Global Low — horizontal tool, not advice-built.
Mili unverified URL Advisor-specific note-taker (per WealthTech Today 2026 guide) US Low — confirm site before citing.
Focal unverified URL Note-taker → "AI uses the computer itself," triggers back-office processes US Low-Medium — confirm site.

3. General Client Intelligence

Whole-book insight, CRM intelligence, agentic "operating system" — our Client Intelligence Layer expansion narrative.

Competitor Website What they lead with Geography Threat / crossover
Zocks zocks.io "Deeper insights and historical intelligence on clients" — closest to our headline whitespace US Highest — gestures at client intelligence but frames it as a feature. Lane is wide open to own as the headline.
Zeplyn zeplyn.ai "Client intelligence platform purpose-built for advisors" — aligns planning, portfolios, engagement US High — explicitly claims the term; US-only for now.
AdvisoryAI advisoryai.com "Amplifies every role/workflow… client capacity doubles" — intelligence as part of the suite UK Medium-High — could pivot to intelligence given its proof base.
Aveni aveni.ai Compliance Knowledge Hub + FinLLM "regulatory intelligence layer" from millions of interactions UK Medium — intelligence framed through compliance/QA, not growth.
Subatomic getsubatomic.ai "AI Co-Workers" workforce — unified data layer over the existing RIA stack (CRM, custodians, planning, PM) directing specialised agents (Meeting Prep Analyst, Data Ops, Follow-Up, Compliance Monitor) under an "AI Chief of Staff." Claims week-one productivity, no ramp. Case study: 8,000 hrs/yr, ~4 FTEs recovered (Vantage Financial) US High — only competitor to claim our exact whitespace: prep/intelligence from the data the firm already owns, value in week one. Framed as headcount replacement, not software. Crossover into Meeting Prep (§1). Actively demoing — placed at WealthStack (Wealth Management EDGE, Sept 2025), 9% of audience vote.
Savvy Wealth savvywealth.com AI platform for advisers (firm + tech); broader RIA play US Low-Medium — adjacent, more a tech-enabled RIA than a tool.
CogniCor unverified URL Note-taker → agentic AI embedding into advisory workflows US Low — confirm site.

4. Adjacent / People to Watch

Not head-to-head competitors — system-of-record platforms, infrastructure, and adjacent players we likely integrate with (prep from) rather than compete against. Watch for them moving into our lane.

Player Website What they are Geography Why watch
Practifi practifi.com "Intelligent CRM for RIAs that demand more" — Salesforce-built CRM with native AI that automates workflows and surfaces client insights in real time. 10,000+ users, firms up to $45B+ AUM US / global System-of-record CRM, not a tool — likely an integration target (one of the systems we prep from). But "surfaces client insights" gestures at our lane; watch if the AI layer pivots from CRM feature to intelligence headline.
bQuest bquest (per WealthMgmt coverage) Longevity planning platform for advisers — end-of-life / health-support: in-home care, funeral services, national footprint of vetted providers. Lead-gen tool added May 2026. Founder/CEO Lauren Clough US Adjacent, not head-to-head — different lane (longevity vs. prep/intelligence). Watch only: won Best of Show at WealthStack demo (Wealth Management EDGE, Sept 2025), so well-funded attention in the adviser-tech space. Confirm official URL before citing.

Notes & Gaps

  • Our whitespace (per positioning.md): systems-first, not transcript-first — we prep from the client history a firm already owns (CRM, emails, PDFs, old files), so value lands in week one. Every competitor above preps from meetings they recorded — thin until ~6 months of history exists. Exception — watch closely: Subatomic (added 2026-06-29) now claims this same "unified data layer over the existing stack → week-one value" story. US/RIA-only for now, and pitched as an AI workforce (replace headcount) rather than prep — but it's the first to contest our differentiation head-on. Sharpen what stays ours: UK/SA focus, prep-led narrative, founder depth, single-product clarity.
  • Saturated claims to avoid echoing: "AI notetaker," "save X hrs/week," "FCA-ready suitability reports," "2x client capacity," "privacy-first / you own your data," "seamless CRM integration."
  • Contested but ownable: "client intelligence" (Zocks + Zeplyn gesture at it; nobody leads with it) and "pre-meeting prep" (PlannerPal planted a flag Jan 2026 — narrow window).
  • To verify: Mili, Focal, CogniCor official URLs; whether "Elevate AI" / Altitude (gainaltitude.ai) and "PlanAI" are live products or rebrands.
  • US note-taker long-tail (from WealthTech Today 2026 guide, not yet UK/SA-relevant): Advisor360 Parrot AI, Altruist Hazel, Continuum, GReminders, Vega Minds.
